JLF Alumni Cohort (Sex, Love, and Relationships), time TBD
Part 2 of exploring what traditional Jewish texts say on intimacy, gender, sexuality, and other related topics. What Judaism actually says about premarital sex, what each person's role is in a relationship, what is intimacy and so much more.
JLF Wellbeing (Tuesdays at 3:45 PM)
JLF: Wellbeing utilizes the educational framework of bein adam l’atzmo (between a person and themselves), bein adam l’chaveiro (between a person and others), and bein adam l’makom (between a person and God/the Divine). Each session pairs rich Jewish text and ideas with concrete exploration and application of contemporary wellbeing practices. This curriculum is designed to support students not only in thinking about wellbeing, but also to tangibly interact and experiment with their topics of learning.
JLF: Life's Big Questions (Wednesdays at 5:30 PM)
Conversational seminar for students looking to deepen their understanding of Judaism on their own terms. We’re interested in asking big questions. You know, the big stuff — like Who am I? What communities am I a part of? What is worth committing myself to, and why?
