After School Program

The After School Program provides a unique opportunity for students from all backgrounds to come together and make a difference in the life of a homeless child. Once a week, volunteers and kids share a meal together, enjoy fun and educational activities.

Alternative Break

A unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in Jewish service-learning, participate in hands-on service experience such as tutoring children in underserved communities, cleaning up parks, planting fruits and vegetables in low income communities, and much more.

The Blood Drive Committee brings together a diverse student body to plan a Blood Drive and bring awareness of the need of regular blood donations.

A group of students volunteer with the elderly as they en- joy lunch, live music, conversations, and birthday celebrations together.

A monthly dialogue based program where students with diverse opinions and backgrounds can come together and talk about the important things in life.

Fashion Show Fundraiser

Each year, a dedicated group of students volunteers their time over several Sundays to create a fashion show from start to finish: developing a theme, and scouting models, performers, and designers. The culmination is a fashion show for the whole community.

Mini Day Camp

Student volunteers plan a three-day mini day camp for kids from a local shelter. They organize all the trips, prepare the meals, and interactive, critical thinking activities for the duration of the camp.

Passover Deliveries For Seniors

Hillel organizes a Passover package delivery prog-ram for senior citizens in need. Starting two weeks before Passover, students work together to assemble and deliver food to seniors in need.

Every year, Hillel hosts an annual Thanksgiving Dinner for the Homeless. We partner with student clubs, Greek organizations and local businesses to bring an unforgettable evening to homeless New Yorkers.
